About Dayna Reann

Dayna Reann is a visual artist based in Houston, Texas. Her work centers Black women and examines identity as something formed through presence, conviction, and context.
Working primarily in acrylic and water-soluble crayon, Dayna creates figurative paintings that move between portraiture and narrative scenes. Her compositions are marked by color and clarity, using posture, gesture, and spatial balance to convey inner life without overt explanation. Fashion, environment, and symbolic detail function as deliberate elements within a cohesive visual language.
Dayna’s practice is grounded in Christian faith and informed by systems thinking, shaping a disciplined approach to image-making and long-term development. She creates in limited numbers, prioritizing material longevity, continuity of vision, and thoughtful placement as her practice evolves.
Dayna is an intentional, structured, and deeply invested mentor who has spent over ten years guiding young women and girls from confusion to clarity and from potential to purposeful action. She does not offer surface-level motivation or temporary inspiration—she provides framework, accountability, and wisdom. She understands what it means to feel called to more while lacking the clarity to organize faith, ambition, and gifts into a cohesive plan. Her mentorship is rooted in alignment, discipline, and honest conversation. Dayna helps women slow down, think strategically, and build with confidence. When women work with her, they are not simply encouraged—they are thoughtfully guided toward becoming the woman they know they are meant to be.
